Kathleen Murphy is a Nashville native and graduate of Belmont University. With a background in ministry and teaching, she left her church & classroom jobs in 2010 to pursue a call to full time ministry outside of the traditional church setting. She currently serves as a community advocate and mentor for youth and their families through, “My Own Backyard.” She is a connector and educator who is passionate about relationships & helping people discover how to walk with God through building & fostering community. She is a writer, speaker, and educational ministry consultant who also serves as the Director of Education for Barefoot Republic Camps.
